Major forces are reshaping healthcare through a convergence of technology, organisational and policy trends. Given the mounting demands on health services but increasingly constrained resources, standing still is not an option. Healthcare leaders need to rethink the way services are designed and delivered. Interconnected technological trends - including widespread digital connectivity, growing data and analytical capabilities, and new approaches which focus on empowered patients – may transform healthcare into a new 21st century model. But shifting from where we are today to where we’d like to be is very hard. The talk will explore the key questions that could determine whether health innovation efforts succeed or fail in transforming healthcare.
